The NATO Association of Canada appointed Scott Spicer as its new Director, a pivotal moment for advancing understanding of Canada's role within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

With 32 years of experience in public safety, emergency response, law enforcement, and national security, Scott Spicer brings invaluable expertise to his role as Director. His vision encompasses the following key focus areas:
Public Education and Awareness: Scott Spicer aims to boost public education and awareness about NATO's mission and its impact on Canadian security and international affairs. He will actively participate in educational programs, conferences, and public outreach initiatives, fostering a better understanding of NATO's role among Canadians and sharing insights with other nations seeking to enhance their public safety and security posture.
Policy Advocacy: Leveraging his extensive experience, Scott Spicer will contribute to policy recommendations to the Canadian government on NATO-related matters. He aims to develop Canadian policies that align with NATO's objectives and promote active Canadian involvement in the alliance.
