With a steadfast commitment spanning over 32 years to the fields of emergency management, national security, and public safety, Scott Spicer stands as a distinguished leader, celebrated for his exceptional contributions. His remarkable journey features a pivotal role when he was recruited to assemble a specialized team tasked with researching, analyzing, and investigating the multi-agency Emergency Responses to Canada’s worst homicide with the Mass Casualty Commission commissioned by the Privy Council of Canada and the Government of Nova Scotia in response to one of Canada's most tragic homicide incidents.

Scott's extensive expertise extends to specialized investigation, emergency management, corporate security audits, and event management consulting. He has amassed a wealth of knowledge through extensive training in police, military, intelligence, and national security sciences.

Beyond his exceptional career, Scott continues to shape strategies and advocate for safety and security as the Officer and Director at the NATO Association of Canada, strengthening partnerships with member states and ensuring a brighter and more secure future.

He has extensive experience enhancing physical security and security at large scale public and private events to reducing or mitigate risk by employing global best practices and utilizing deterrence tactics.
He has significant experience collaborating and managing large scale events, including but not limited to NBA, NHL, MLB, Invictus Games, Toronto Caribbean Festival and New Year's Eve celebrations having deep expertise in the areas of Contingency Planning, Emergency Response and Crisis Management.

ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) EXPERT
As an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) expert, he has managed AML Investigators teams as part of a Global Anti-Money Laundering Unit. He is a 27-year veteran of the Toronto Police Service and a court qualified expert in Money Laundering and Bulk Cash Smuggling. He has lead Multi-National Money Laundering investigations that provide training and instruction related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Terrorist Activity Financing (TL).
He is fascinated by the world of Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Proceeds of Crime investigations. He stays current in this profession through certifications from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (CAMS), the Association of Certified Anti-Money Specialists (CFCS), The CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium as a Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP), Advance Financial Crime Investigator (ACAMS-FCI), The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) and is currently in the process of obtaining by Financial Crimes Investigator (FIS) designation. He is a regular guest speaker on financial crimes.
